On March 18, 2013, Climate Ride, the national bike ride for sustainable solutions, announced that the Earth Institute is now a beneficiary of Climate Ride via a press release. Participants can select the Earth Institute as a grant recipient when they ride in any Climate Ride event.

Currently, Climate Ride has two yearly events: Climate Ride California, this May 18-23, 2013 and Climate Ride NYC-DC, this September 21-25, 2013.

Any registered rider can choose to support the Earth Institute, and, in addition, the Earth Institute has formed a team on the upcoming NYC-DC ride in September. If interested in joining the Earth Institute team, you can visit the team page here.
