Training Prepares Sustainability Students for LEED Exam

Some 50 Columbia students and alumni participated in a training on the LEED v4 accreditation exam, the newest version of the LEED green building program. Participants were students and graduates from across the Earth Institute’s education programs, who were interested in taking the Green Associate exam and adding LEED accreditation to their repertoire of professional skills.

MPA Alum Focuses on Energy Planning and Compliance

MPA in Environmental Science and Policy alum, Joseph Daniel (’12), is using the skills he developed in the program to give insight into the issues his clients at Synapse Energy Economics are struggling with in an effort to help them resolve issues in the most optimal way possible. Daniel joined the program in 2011 with several years of professional experience ranging from political advocacy to consulting.
