Angelie spent six months in 2010 in rural Mali and Senegal as a research intern for the MVP Health Sector. Angelie is currently completing a MPH in the Epidemiology Department—Global Health Track at the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University. She received a MS in Human Nutrition from the Institute of Human Nutrition, also at Columbia University, and BS and BA degrees from Michigan State University. Angelie has worked as a teacher, writer and medical assistant.
