Andrea Basche

Andrea is a member of the 2010 Climate and Society Masters Program at the Earth Institute. She received her B.S. in Biological Sciences and Philosophy from Fordham University in 2006. In addition to numerous teaching assistant posts at Columbia, Basche serves as an intern for the Center for Research on Environmental Decisions (CRED) where she is helping develop effective climate communication materials. Her research interests include sustainable food systems, agro-ecology and its relationship to climate, and the environmental decision-making process. She also continues to work part time for Jack Rabbit Sports, where she shares the joys of endurance running, fitness, proper diet and yoga with the running community in New York City.
