HI Niklas,

My favorite place almost near to you. Its the small mountain
pop up in a large ocean. I really love it!. Meanwhile your research is good Since climate is related to ocean and it changes very rapidly. Keep your research- may be one day our climate will improve

Hi Niklas,
The Line Islands because of their location in the central Pacific. Much of what we know about past changes in ocean and climate from the Pacific come from the edges near South America and Indonesia. However, land itself affects what the sediments can tell us. Looking in the central Pacific gives us a clearer picture of how weather patterns have changed in the past.
Best,
Pratigya
