Dear Dr Sachs,

As you are aware, in India we have ASHAs who are working as community health volunteers. Although we have started training them in Home Based New Born Care, we still have not provided them with virtual stethoscopes as you have done in Africa.I would really like to know what kind of mobile phones have been given to the CHWs in your project villages. Are they regular mobile phones that have been loaded with a software? Does this software work on an online or an offline mode? Moreover, can the software be loaded on regular mobile phones already being used by ASHAs? Hope you can clarify some of my queries!
