With over 800 scientists, researchers, students and staff representing the Earth Institute on every ocean and every continent, the full scope of our work is practically impossible to grasp in any single medium. But that doesn’t mean we can’t try. From expeditions through the Southern Ocean to cramped labs in Manhattan, something new is being discovered each day. We’ll try to capture stories, opinions and thoughts of how the Earth works and how we can sustainably make our lives here better. We will do it by tapping the best minds in climate, geology, oceanography, ecology, sustainable development, global health, energy, food and water, and more. We hope you will continue to check back with us on this site to learn, debate and spread the word about how you can be a part of the critical work that is shaping how we live.

My primary interests are how all of mankind is connected, not just with each other but also with Mother Earth.

The HeartMath.org folks are measuring and studying the earth’s eM changes and corresponding physical/psychological world events.

    Best wishes all!

By forging close ties with stakeholders in all aspects of its work, the Earth Institute is able to expand its reach and more effectively help the world achieve sustainability. While one organization cannot achieve sustainable development alone, the Earth Institute is committed to playing a major role to ensure a world of shared prosperity and environmental sustainability.
    Thanks For This Great Post.

Something like this kinda makes you realize how huge the Earth is. So many people, from different parts of the world. They have the potential, an idea to make the world a better place. And with the help of other like-minded individuals, their ideas begin to evolve and improve each time. That’s truly something wonderful, isn’t it?

  7. Very important that there are people still concern about our place we live. I salute them!
